I think it's time I stopped cheating and got on with actually losing this weight instead of complaining about it. I just weighed myself and I'm currently 8st 11, I tend to fluctuate from that to 8st 12 but never actually get below that. My goal was to get under 8st, not by much just a pound or two, by Septemeber 3rd when my friend is getting married. 14 pounds in 24 weeks seemed a bit too easy though, the kind of goal that sounded so easy I'd keep putting it off and never doing it. New goal, 14 pounds in 14 weeks, with September 3rd as absolute latest date.
I have the added problems I've seen that a few other people have as well. I'm asthmatic and climbing even one flight of stairs gets me painfully out of breath. I'm also at home a lot studying on the computer because of being a student and when I'm at college I'm sat at a desk for hours on end. I can't go out running as there's a nasty housing estate with big dogs let out alone nearby and I've already had one come after me. I do have a gym membership but barely ever get the time to go because of studying and working in the evening. Plus it's way out of town so I need my friend to drive me there and if he's not in the mood, I can't.
From today I'm counting calories and fat grams as much as possible and I'm going to try and do some exercise at home each day. I'm debating buying a treadmill to use at home but it's £100 and money I don't really have. I have a gym ball but with two kittens running around my feet it's awkward to use it now.
Oh well, here goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
