I'm trying to figure out if my daughter can wear this costume to Disney...

She wants to wear it for Halloween and we are going to Disney in November so I thought it might be cute but I'm wondering if it would be allowed and if so, how would cast members interact with her.

Anyone ever seen a child wearing a QOH costume?

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. CMs I'm sure would interact with her like anyone else. I assume Mad Hatter, Alice and QoH herself would love it.

It's a wonderful costume and she looks adorable and very "queenly'. I don't think Disney has any problems with young children wearing character costumes in the park as it's very obvious they are not the character it's only when adults wear costumes so true to a character that they might be mistaken as one.

Alice characters will probably notice and interact more with her in this costume. When we went last year Queen of Hearts was in the Villains show at the castle and afterwards came down to meet and greet. I believe she stood by the right ramp leading up to the castle if you face the castle. Anyway it would be a great photo op for your daughter to get pic with her. My son was dressed as Hook and we got a great picture of him with Hook.

With the Villains show people line up by castle court for pictures even before show starts..we watched the first show and saw where all the villains stood for pictures and then for the 2nd show lined up for the villain we most wanted and then moved our way around. It took 2 shows for us to get pictures with all the villains in the show (DS loves the villains). Get to the show early and get a seat right in front of the castle and if you see a CM ask where Queen of Hearts stands for pictures so you can line up.

I even feel silly asking the question but I've never seen a child wearing one so I started to wonder if there was an obvious reason I was missing other than she just isn't a popular character. I think it would be kind of fun and a way to get some extra mileage out of the costume.

Don't feel silly! It's a cute costume and definitely not one you normally see worn by children--I guess because it belongs to a villain. But there's certainly nothing wrong with it that I can tell. :goodvibes

The villains show someone else mentioned is actually only at the Halloween party. You can sometimes meet the Queen ofhearts at characterpalooza (my daughter did). I love the costume and if my daughter was wearing it for Halloween itwould definitely be worn at the parks as well

I just wanted to say you rarely see kids dressed up as Alice there either. I think they're just not as popular as the princesses

As others have said, it won't be a problem for your little one to dress up as the QoH. I haven't seen any other kids dressed up like her, but I have seen a few adults. Disney doesn't want guests pretending to be the costumed CMs, but no one is going to mistake a little kid for a costumed CM! She'll probably stand out to some degree because she wont be a princess. Assuming she's still young enough, she could even wear the costume to the parks on other days.

Never seen a QOH costume but I think it's a great idea!! It's a beautiful dress and I think the CMs would love the originality. It would absolutely be allowed.

I think it's great! It's certainly a nice break from all the princess costumes. Why be a princess when you can be a queen!

I hope she has a great time!

I think it's a cute costume and would be no problem at all, especially for a child.

My DD was Sally from TNBC a couple of years ago. Not many of those costumes seen either. The CM's were awesome, but a lot of the guests had no idea who she was. Having a costume that is not common gets more notice by the CM's and characters at meets.

Its adorable! Go for it. The only thing I might suggest is that you bring a change of clothes. It looks a bit "heavy" and if it is a warm day she might get overheated.

People are very creative for MNSSHP. We we went my daughter and I dressed as witches...halloween witches. Nothing Disney. I think that outfit is PERFECT!

Your daughter's costume is adorable. There isn't any problem with young children in costumes like this at WDW. My 3 year old granddaughter wore her Snow White costume and it was fine. There are limits, though, for older children and adults, but I think it starts later, like age ten or something.

I actually have that same costume in adult version. I was goi g to wear it for MNSSHP as my DD is going as Alice and DS as Mad Hatter and DH as king of hearts. Now, I'm worried as an adult I shouldn't wear it. But your daughter totally should!

Don't be worried! Go ahead and wear the costume! :) You'll see lots of adults dressed up in some very elaborate costumes.

(If your worried about looking like a costumed CM, don't worry. :goodvibes If you start taking photos with other guests and/or signing autographs like you were the character, then they might ask you to leave, but if you're just wearing the costume and posing for pictures with your friends/family, it won't be an issue.)

Go for it! I have a 4-year old daughter who's into all the Disney dresses and I've never even seen this one so my guess is that's why. (And I don't recall ever seeing one in all my trips to Disney either!)

Make sure to do a meet and greet with Alice! I'm sure it'll be fun since I can't imagine she gets many of them!

Omgosh, yes! That is totally adorable & a nice change from all the princesses, i love it! (for children & adults alike)
