Queation about AP at Xmas

If I check in on Dec 26th and that is the last day of the AP rates, does that mean I will only get that rate for that day or for the entire stay because I checked in before they changed rates? I am still a little confused about whether this is the same as checking in during low season and having it change to regular or high season during your stay.

Unless policies have changed, then your rate at check-in is the rate you pay for the entire stay. For the past two years, we've always arrived right before Christmas, on the last day of the discounted AP rate. Even though the rest of the stay was during the peak season in terms of hotel rates, our rate stayed at the lower AP value season rate.
