My tomato plants appear to be ready for a winter sleep. They had been giving me a few new ones up to this past week. I'd brought them up on the deck and they were sheltered so just kept on growing. No big freezes here yet. I also had a couple of pots of annual flowers that were doing well. Not so much anymore. I'll re seed them in February-March and start again.
You guys on the Eastern shore must have had much milder weather than those of us on the Western side. My tomatoes were done by the middle of October. Weather here is miserable, cold, windy. and it's actually snowing! :(

Good morning after Turkey Day. Weather has turned into winter. Cold and windy all day yesterday, we high a high of 36. Winds were bad all night. This morning it's 29 heading for 34, windy and snowing lightly, little round balls. Tomorrow and Sunday will be 42 and then it gets cold again with 1-3" on Tuesday. Dave and I are crossing our fingers that the winds will die down so he can get the steps done.

My dinner was good, I ate too much and didn't have room for my blueberry cream cheese pie for dessert. I was so tired I had a hard time keeping my eyes open until 11. Didn't hear from either of his boys, which I expected, I'm nothing to them anymore. Summer did text around 5, she was still slaving in the kitchen with no help. There's no excuse for that. Lily was working, but Gracie, her bf, Summer's oldest and next oldest son and his gf were there, along with her husband. They should have all been helping. She's supposed to call me today and fill me in on the whole car buying story.

I have 2 not so smart outdoor cats, including the kitten. They've slept on the front porch on a chair for the last 2 nights, in the cold and wind. There's a heavy afghan on the chair, but still, it's been too cold. There are 2 covered boxes on the front porch for them, and 2 under the front porch. I just put an old mattress pad and another blanket under the afghan to make it warmer. I tried to get the kitten to come inside (I'm guessing it's about 3 months old). She comes to the door and sticks her head in, but as soon as I go to pick her up, she backs away. She does let me pet her and pick her up before I put breakfast out, so I'm going to have to try and get her in then. I just don't know how she's going to interact with the inside cats or them with her. 3 of them would probably be fine, but the other one (she looks just like him, they have the same mama), would be the one to chase and torment her. But I'm going to keep trying. Mama knows where to go in the winter, she's been here for 4 years. The other outside ones know where to go also. One was under the front porch in a box, one goes in the cat house and the other into the new shed.

The only thing I plan on doing today is writing out Christmas cards while watching some Christmas movies. I have a few gifts to wrap that need to be shipped in early Dec. If I want to venture out in the cold I might go see Wicked for Good again tomorrow. I listened to both soundtracks yesterday while cleaning, before I put on Christmas ones to do the tree. It feels funny to be all done with everything the day after Thanksgiving, lol

Have a good day everyone. Good luck if you're venturing out to do shopping. Stay safe!

Happy Friday afternoon, friends with love. Dad and I were extra blessed to spend time together yesterday. I also hot to wish several favorite people here a Happy Thanksgiving which meant a lot. Today, I had a good therapy session. Dad and I are currently waiting for a Walmart delivery to come here (I had a promo code on my account).

Have a wonderful rest of the day. I will check back later.
