hello, let me start by saying if your looking for the ritz, this is not for you, but if your looking for a nice 1-2 bedroom suite with breakfast and convenience, read on!
From first apprearance, it looks very nice. Grounds are kept well, pool and hot tub very clean. All rooms(doors) are facing pool which are inside the atrium. So you feel more safe. Next to the pool is a bar which you get free drinks from 5-7 every night! The kids loved the free soda.
We had a 2 bedroom suite. It was very nice, comfortable. Comes with a small kitchen which includes, dishes, mini stove and fridge, micro and coffee maker and a dish washer. We had plenty of space. 2 bathrooms was just the ticket. There is a safe in the master bedroom. Came in handy. Kitchen comes with free coffee packets, detergent. Plenty of soap and shampoo was left everyday. Plenty of towels. Housekeeping was very nice, arranged the kids stuffed animals on the beds which they thought was cute!
They loved the pool, like I mentioned before it was very clean, as was the hot tub. The kiddie pool wasn't as clean, but they tried, was hard because the afternnon storms would blow the little flowers from a near by tree in it. Not their fault, just mother nature! They also have plenty of pool towels available.
Gameroom could probably use more games, but the kids still enjoyed it. Oldest DS used the fitness room, said it was up to par!
Breakfast was alright, basic stuff, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins and what was frozen waffles. Only problem is not enough room to sit. Even though we waited til we thought everyone would be leaving for parks it was still very packed, so we took it to the room. Overall not bad though and included in room! Can't complained about that.....
The only complaint I have is when we checked in they told us we had to leave a deposit? We had made the ressies on their website with our credit card, no where on it did it say we'd need to leave a deposit, nor that they charge 2.50 a day for use of the safe whether you use it or not. We used it and I have no problem paying for it, but let people know. Speically about the deposit. If we had did it on the card it would have been a $100 charged then given back later or if you did it with cash only $30 and you get it back at check-out. I told them what I thought in the nicest way possibly and how wrong it was, but chose the cash as in I didn't want to wait a long time to have it put back on my credit card. Made no sense to me the difference, but I didn't want it to ruin our vacation.
So as long as your aware of the deposit thing, then everything else is fine. We had a great time, walked over to Old Town which is a hop, skip and a jump! Depending which side of the building your on you can see the fireworks from Disney at night out the back window!
Many places to eat and shop all around and within walking distance, very convenient to many things.
Overall, I'd give this place a 8 out of 10 and would stay here again if visiting the area and not staying onsite!
If any questions just ask!
