We stayed there in March 2002. We had a 2-bedroom suite on the top floor. There were 4 of us, 3 adults and 1 child. The suite was a nice size, plenty of room for all of us. There was a TV in the living room and in 1 bedroom (I don't think the other bedroom had one). There was a sofa bed in the living room. Kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, plates, etc. though we had only really cheap plastic forks and knives and no spoons - we had to pocket some in the park and bring them back.
Breakfast buffet was decent, nothing fancy. We thought it wasn't laid out particularly well - not enough space for the number of people using it. After the first day, we opted to get our food and take it back to our room.
Pool area looked nice though we didn't swim during our stay.
Overall, a decent place to stay. I probably wouldn't stay there again only because I think there are better values to be had in the area. For a 1-bedroom, the Days Suites next door is usually cheaper. We were there in November 2002 and would gladly return. For 2-bedroom or larger, it is cheaper to rent a condo at a place like Windsor Palms where you can get a 2-bedroom starting at about $55/nite and have a nicer atmosphere in a practically new complex. But again, QS was nice and I don't think your coworker will be disappointed. Be sure to check rates both at
