Well, we just returned from 6 days at Disney(06/16-06/22).

Hotel room-We stayed at a 2 room 2 bath suite and it was great. Clean and plenty of room. There is plenty of space and alot of closet space.

Staff- The staff was helpful.

Breakfest- They had hot and cold cereal. Plenty of muffins and waffels and orange, apple juice. This was great to keep us full until lunch at the parks.

Shuttle-The shuttle was OK not great. The dropped you off at Magic Kingdom and then you needed to take the Disney buses to the other parks. They did have pick ups from all the parks.

Location- Location was great. Plenty of stores and resturants near the hotel. Also Old Town was next door and we had a great time there.

Pools- 1 large adult pull. 1 child pool and a hot tub.

Extras- Had a great game room and a bar. Free beer and fine every afternoon 4-6p.m.

In all I would stay there again! Great place

I am so happy to hear that.:) I made ressies for our 2 week stay 8/14th -25th.:Pinkbounc I have a question though. On the BEST/ WORST hotel thread someone mention bring your own kitchen stuff or they will charge you to use theirs, is this true? If so what are they charging you for? Pots and Pans only or everything? How much were they charging anyway?
Trying to keep up with all 12 of us is enough without worring about my kitchenware bag, LOL.

I didn't tell anyone I switched our hotel from the Rodeway Inn yet, it's my little secret :smooth: :smooth: . I hope everyone is happy.

DSis- late-20's, DNephew-12, Dneice-9, Dnephew-8, Dneice-1 1/2
DSis- mid-20's, DGodson-2
ME-real early-30's (LOL), DD10, DS7, DD turns 1 the day we get there:D
Is there enough for this age range of kids?

Thanx a million:D

There was no charge to use them. They supplied pots, pans and silverware. Any more question, please feel free to ask.

Thanks for the review, would you mind telling us the price you paid for the room and how you found the price?

Sounds like you had a great time!

RobinMarie, I paid $125.95 per night. You can go into there web site www.choicehotels.com and select internet rate. I looked up the dates that you listed and came up with $98.95 per night. Please add 12% tax rate. That is a great rate. You just have to hold the reservation with a credit card. You do not have to pay up front until you arrive. Any more questions, feel free to ask.

You are referring to the Days Suites which is next to the Quality Suites. That is cheaper and closer to Old Town, but doesn't include anything in the kitchen.

We were also happy with the Quality Suites. All things considered, I'd probably pick the Days Suites over the Quality Suites because of the lower price.

If you are planning a stay at either of them, go to the hotels' direct website at:
www.thhotels.com
They have Quality Suites for $94.95/nite from 8/14-8/25. Days Suites is actually more expensive during that time period.

Actually I found cheaper rates for some of those hotels at www.go2orlando.com. Even though they guarantee to have the cheapest rate right on their site. We stayed at the Day's Inn in February (all part of the same group). I got the room $4.00 cheaper a night through the above website. Now if it wouldn't of been last minute (we arrive 36 hours after I booked the room), I could of gotten that rate plus 10% less per the low rate guarantee on the home page for those hotels.

Thanks

Disneysteve thanks for clearing that up. I called and they said they supplied everthing but a toaster;) , I can deal with that. And I got a rate of $87.96, that was nice.

MELCHOR88 thanks for answering my questions.
I have another, how do there shuttles run?
At HOJO MGE there was 3 in the morning, like 7:30a.m, 9 a.m and 11a.m drop off at the Transportation center and pick ups at all parks 2 or 3 times a night. Is it similar to something like this? thanks

Sorry for the delay.. Yes it's almost the same. The pick ups were 7:30a.m,8:30a.m,10:30a.m & 12:30p.m at the hotel. They would drop you off at the transportation center in Magic Kingdom. At night they would pick you up at whatever park you were going to. If I remember each park had at least 4 pick up times. Animal Kingdon only had 2. Anymore questions ,please feel free to ask. I would really stay here again.

Also, the Days Inn & quality Suites shared the same bus...

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, you're great. Can't think of anything else right now but I'll let you know if I do.

Thanks again MELCHOR88.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :jester:
