Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista - question

Hi~ So excited to finally be here and just starting to plan our trip!!

We're planning a trip March 21 to Orlando, and this hotel seems like a good budget choice. Can anyone offer any recent experiences, particularly:

1. They list free scheduled shuttles to WDW parks, is this one bus going the circuit of all 4 of the Disney parks, or just to Disney World or what? How often does it run? Is it convenient?

2. Do they offer a free shuttle or low cost option to get to Universal Studios? We definitely want to go there for one day if not two.

3. Are there restaurants and / or a grocery story nearby? I love the full kitchen in the room, and am hoping to save a little money by having simple groceries on hand for supper some nights. Can we walk to a grocery story and stock up, or is it really expensive and hard to get to??

Thanks SO much for any advice. We have taken our twins to Disneyland twice but it's our first time to Florida. We live in BC so it's a long way to go! We're very excited! It will be DH's birthday while there, so we're hoping to get a big old BIRTHDAY BOY pin for him to wear!

We're looking at staying there too because of the price of the Hotel + Car package on expedia and because it has a seperate bedroom where our 2yo can nap and get to bed earlier. I read that there's a Super Walmart nearby, but not sure if it's walking distance.

click on my trip link.. I have some pics of the rooms, etc. I did see busses for Disney… there were several times posted but we were there prior to our resort check in. We really liked it. Very close to Downtown Disney and a great outlet mall. Lots of restaurants nearby also. Breakfast was sufficient, and the pool was clean! We are doing this stay again this year before our resort checkin!!
