that of course won't break the bank! However, I don't want to replace it every 2 years.

Looking for a couple of comfy chairs and a table as well as a couple of matching lounge chairs.

Need them weather proof - they won't be under a covered porch most of the time.

Target is having a sale on patio furniture and accessories. 25% off.

We bought our furniture from KMart. It has held up well over the last 6 years. We just replaced the cushions this last summer.

5 chairs with cushions and glass table with lazy Susan. $550.00. They had a huge advertising error so we got a gazebo with the set as well. We replaced that with a tilting umbrella this year. 99.00.

We are also in Chicago land and winters are rough. The table is under a tarp and the chairs and cushions are in storage.

We also have a bistro set we bought years and years ago with two reclining chairs and a small glass table. The chairs are made of this amazing fabric that is washable and has held up so well. The set was clearanced at 49.99.

I like sales :)

I guess everybodies idea of reasonable is different.

On sale teak is going to be reasonable for some but not others...

We bought a nice set from Sam's Club about 8 years ago. The chairs are mesh (no cushions) and the table has granite squares. It's out all summer getting direct sun all morning. In the winter (we're in the Chicago area so we get quite a bit of snow and very cold), we put in under the play fort in our back yard. I was just at Sam's over the weekend and they have quite a few nice sets out already. Since we still have a foot of snow on the ground, they're not selling as fast as they did the year we got ours. ;)

We got ours last year at Home Depot during a big sale. I think it might have been just before Memorial Day. I also bought discounted gift cards from one of the online sites to bring the price down more.

But the thing about patio furniture is the prices range from under $100 for a couple of chairs to in the thousands so you need to be a little more specific about your budget.

We did too! :)

Thanks for the input. I would like to stick with Home Depot/Target type pricing if the quality is there.

I bought a set from target 2 years ago that still looks great. The chairs were $25 a piece and the table was around $50 I think. They sit outside with no cover all summer but I do move them to the basement for the winter.

We have a few wrought iron sets that have been in the family for years. Every few years I repaint them and they look brand new again. :goodvibes
