Hi

Can anyone tell me how the Quality Inn International is, first time going there and i was hoping for some of your views.:jester:

Issridd,

We stayed there last december.

It looks a bit tatty from the outside and the lifts and balconies could do with an overhaul. Our first impressions were a little disappointing.
However - the rooms are very clean and the maid service was excellent - the on-site restaurant is good and all can be forgiven for the hotels wonderful location. You are right in the middle of I-Drive on the junction with Sand Lake Road with lots of restaurants in walking distance including MacDonalds, Dennys, Race Rock, Wild Jacks and loads more......

For the price you pay it aint bad at all, great location as already mentioned. We have stayed here a couple of times & we do feel it could do with updating now but it was still kept clean.

hi issridd,

I stayed at the Quality inn international 2 years ago and liked it that much were going back this year. Its right next door to a big mcdonalds and is close to loads of great shops on Idrive. It also has a Iride trolley stop right outside it which is handy for going to the malls. The rooms are nothing special but are comfortable with fridge and coffe machine and staff where always very helpfull. theres a restaurant on site which does nice food and a small gift shop bar. there also a service counter where u can book park tickets and bus transfers to all the parks. When are u going there, my girlfriend and I are going in september again its a great budget hotel.

Steve

thanks alll we are going in early june so we'll let you know how we get on

:p :p

Hi Issridd,

As you can see we stayed at the QII on our first visit . IMHO the location is great for first timers as you're in the middle of I Drive with everything it has to offer.

You'll have a great time!!

At this type of hotel, i.e low rise & spread out, room location for a 2 week stay can be very important. Some rooms here (not many) have a naff outlook & can be noisy. Rooms change over every day so if you see a part of the hotel you like, just ask to change, simple!

A great point Eastender. It would be wise to request a room away from I-4 as that can be noisy early on in the morning & may wake you up :)
First time we ended up in the two story blocks near I-Drive & it was spot on, the second time we were in the 5 story block nearer to I-4 & it was much louder.

some things to remember as this is our first time. thanks to you all for your thoughts :)
