Quality Inn How close to Disney and is it safe?

I just booked our forst vacation to DLR. So excited. We are booked at the Quality Inn. How close is it to the park entrance? Is this area safe for walking at night? WE are kind of nervous about this as at WDW we stay on property. Thanks for any advice.

Here is my favorite map of the DL area hotels. It is has the best Actual hotel placement to the DL Entrance[which is still a 5 minute walk to the DL gates.]

We leave in the morning and are staying at the Quality Inn & Suites for our trip (6 nights). I would gladly report back on the hotel and walk when we return home.

I'll try to remember to get some pics too.
