Quality Inn anaheim Resort fee 3.15 a day?

Does anyone know what this means? It is on the quality inn site on the booking page. I am booking this hotel over the internet for 7 nights in may . If anyone can help explain this fee I would apprecitate it.

It is a local tourism tax. Some hotels show it as a line item instead of incorporating it into their nightly price.

If you stay at Disney's Paradise Pier it's $11.50 per day for this stupid fee in addition to the nightly rate!

Yeah they all have that unfortunately (some obviously higher then others!). When we stayed at the Red Roof it wasn't something they included in any of their original quotes, so it was annoying to us to have it be higher then what we figured. Since then we know to include it when we figure out the total.
