QSDP Question about checking out early...

We are considering possibly adding the quick service dining plan to our trip in a few days, we have five nights booked but we aren't quite sure if we will be able to stay the fifth night or not. If we modify our reservation mid stay and don't stay the fifth night, would we still be charged for that night of the dining plan? TIA

Since Disney's cancellation policy is 45 days for a package and 7 days for a room only, I don't think cancelling mid-vacation is going to be of any help.
