Are there any limitations on what you can get at the Pepper Market on the QSDP? I notice that they have a Ribeye steak on the menu. It would be worth a trip over there for dinner if the Steak was included.

Steak is included. :thumbsup2 There is no exclusions on the dining plan at pepper market. Steak is only available for dinner now.

The only limitation we found was for dessert. They said only churro, cookies, or a muffin. Fine by us we were stuffed. After my fiesta margarita, dessert was the last thing on my mind. Its funny DD23 and I each ordered a margarita. I ordered frozen so I could and would just sip it and DD23 ordered on the rocks because she didn't want brain freeze. Plus she thought it might be stronger. WRONG! I love margaritas, I joke that tequilla runs through my veins (my mom is mexican) That was definitely a margarita I sipped only. LOL

We really enjoyed PM last year. Though we stayed at ASMu we'd run over there for takeout. It was one of the few places that I could get a decent salad. Perfect after a hot day in the parks. (Don't care for the prepackaged salad in the food court)

Did you drive over there? I was wondering if I could park there. I am staying at another Disney Resort.

Yes you sure can:thumbsup2 You can drive over to any resort for dinner. Simply stop at the Guard Building and let them know you are there to dine, and they will issue you a 3 hour parking pass.

When were you limited as to the dessert? There are a few reports that this year they aren't limiting the desserts any longer.

They have SO MANY other dessert items to choose from it doesn't seem fair to limit it like that. Have others run across this type of limitation as well ? I have been waiting to get their flan and cakes for 6 months !

My family and I ate at Pepper Market twice on our May trip (made special trips there after a day at Blizzard Beach). DD and DH both wanted the ribeye steak and I wanted the desserts. We didn't have any limitations on the desserts at all. My DH is not a big dessert fan so I ordered on his behalf! :rotfl: And boy, were they yummy! We had the chocolate cakes and strawberry shortcakes but there were so many more to try but we were too full! ;)

I just got my package papers from Disney with this years luggage tags, vouchers, and arcade game card then you deliver the great news about Pepper Market ! Woo - hoo !! Thank you !!:yay: I don't why they would limit the previous poster on desserts when there are so many delicious things to chose from. Too bad they didn't talk to someone else about it. I think I would have had to ask other CMs about that one. There would be no way of getting me out of there without at least a piece of cake !

We're thinking of trying the PM for dinner after a park...but which one? Which park is CSR closest to?

(we're staying at the WL, so it's probably a good idea for the trip back to take the MK bus, and then the boat to the WL, right?)

we stayed 2 weeks last yr and it was hit and miss it depended on the cm...like many have said we were too stuffed to worry about dessert. We are bummed a little this year we are trying to save $ and staying @ Pop instead...I will miss the pm and pool and fitness center and rix lounge and the lake and the hammocks and the ..why did we switch again?

CSR is fairly close to DHS and AK. It is very close to Blizzard Beach.

If you have a car, you should be drive there. If not, I think your plan on taking the bot to MK and then the bus is a good choice.

Eat lots of desserts for me! I am more of a dessert fan than my DH who wished that he tried the prime rib too besides the ribeye (I did!). We really enjoyed having dinner and desserts at PM. :thumbsup2 Have a great time!

How does the tipping work at Pepper Market if you are on the meal plan?
There seems to be a difference of opinion on that. I was there in December and I was when I asked the PM check-out clerk (who I think was a manager) I was told that the 10% service charge was not included in the dining plan, but they did not and could not charge it to your KTTK. So, I went back to my table, found my server and gave her her $4. Others have reported that they have been told that it *is* included. I don't know if I believe it as tipping, in general, was removed from the DDP. I would say that you should be prepared to drop a couple of $$ on the table. The food is so much better than the rest of the CS places it really is worth a couple dollars OOP. I recommend the steak, the grilled tuna and the pizza.

Also, there was no restriction on desserts when we were there in December but we still got muffins. We put them in a to-go bag and had them for breakfast the next morning! Two meals in one ;).
