QSDP ? and split stay

I am pretty sure I know the answer, but just wanted to confirm it. We are doing a split stay next month. First 2 nights we have QSDP, then 5 nights a different resort, no dining plan.
Question is, the day we check out will we still have the QSDP until midnight, even though we are checking in that afternoon to another resort.
Example, day 1 check in 7:30ish pm, QSDP meal dinner
day 2 QSDP lunch and dinner, and snack
day 3, check out, snack, OOP TS lunch, check in to new resort, no dining plan, hope to eat QSDP from the previous resorts QSDP.

yes...you can use your meal plan credits through midnight of the day you check out of the first hotel.

1)When I check out of my first resort my DDP credits will be good until midnight.

2) Can I check into the next resort while I have unused credits from the first?

3) Am I getting "double" credits for the check-in/check-out on the same day?

1 - yes

2 - yes

3 - credits are based on the number of NIGHTS of your reservation, not days. If you have the QSDP on your second reservation as well you'd have 2 sets of QSDP credits to use (if any are left from the first portion).

Thank you, that helps a lot. I hadn't planned for the extra credits on the day we change resorts. I also wanted to be sure I wouldn't lose them when I checked into my next "stay"

I was thinking of upgrading one portion of our stay to the deluxe dining plan. I used the dining calculator and it would help on the night we visit CRT.

Is it possible to upgrade your dining plan?

I have separate reservation numbers for each resort so I was hoping they would let me do it for just one of my stays.

If you have separate stays, then yes, you can upgrade on just one of them.

Thank you for asking this, I wish I had seen it a few minutes ago as I just posted the same question. Doing QSDP for the first portion of my stay and DDP for the second and was curious about how the change day would be handled as I wanted to use 2 leftover QS credits from the first stay and one of the TS credits from the second stay for dinner. So it sounds like that is not an issue, good to hear.

Just one note of caution. If you are using TS credits, you cannot combine the credits from the first stay with the credits from the second stay to do a 2TS credit meal. The credits from each stay don't mix. So if you're thinking of doing a 2TS meal on your transfer day, make sure you have enough credits from one of the two to cover it.
