QSDP and kids

Hi - I want to make sure I am understanding information correctly regarding the QSDP. I know on the deluxe, the credits were not separated and I was able to order adults meals for my kids. Is it the same still in 2019 for the Quick Service Dining Plan, that they are all pooled together? Thank you in advance!

You can definitely order adult meals with kids credits. They are all pooled as just credits.

Thank you so much! I can’t understand why the quick service and deluxe are like this, but the regular is not. Makes no sense, but makes those 2 the more attractive option.

The quick serve credits in the regular DDP can also be used for adult meals. It's only the TS meals that can't be interchanged.

It's because there are still a few QS places out there that don't have a kid's meal and you can use DxDDP credits for either TS or QS. At least that's the reason that's usually given. For some reason, Disney chooses not to fix the system or add kid's meals to those restaurants and just let everyone use the credits as they want.
