At MK we love Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays
At AK we like Sunshine Seasons or the American Pavillion if you are heading through the countries.

The foodcourt at POP has awesome choices, but can get rather busy.

At DTD, we have to eat at Earl of Sandwich at least once!

If I were you, I would swap my AK day(Dec. 16) and my HS day(Dec17). Since you are not staying in HS for Fantasmic, it doesn't make sense to go there on a day they have Fantasmic. It will be so crowded! If you are using Disney transportation, it is only a matter of 5-10 minutes more travel from the parks to resorts where you have dinners planned.

HS to GF-Bus-About 23 mins.
AK to GF-Bus-About 29 mins.
HS to Contemp-Bus-About 19 mins.
AK to Contemp.-Bu-About 25 mins.

Of course, this only matters if you are going directly from the parks to your dinners, without going back to POP first. :thumbsup2

Hope you have a fabulous first trip!! I love seeing people who are planning their first trip do their homework! So many don't, and they have a miserable time!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I agree with the PP. Read the menus on AllEars.net. It is a great website with a wealth of information.

Have fun on your first trip! :)

Thank you so much - I didn't even know what Fantasmic was so I will definately swap those 2 days! I think we will go from the parks right to dinner - We are just not going to rush to get to HS or AK too early in the morning. :)

At MK, we like Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bills. Both are great and have good toppings bars. You can check out their menus on allears to see what they sell.
I can recommend the burger at both, taco salad at Pecos, the chicken/rib combo and cheesesteak at Cosmic Rays....mmm all delish!

For AK, we like Restaurantasaurus. Again burgers and hot dogs are good. They too have a toppings bard. It is also air conditioned, which many of AK CS places do not have.
I hear Pizzafari is good, but haven't tried that yet.

Epcot, you won't beat Sunshine Seasons for CS. The variety is huge and the food good. I recommend they asian or the sandwiches, and of course the strawberry shortcake...so good!

DHS, we don't eat at because we aren't in that park long.

Now POP has one of the best food courts in WDW. They have a large variety as well and every night they offer what is called Mom's night out dinners....it is still CS, but like tv dinners. Each night is something different. Meatloaf, turkey and dressing and fried chicken are the meals offered. Very good, you should check that out as well.

One more thing, if you do eat at POP and want a sundae for your dessert you can have the cashier mark your receipt and come back within 90mins to get it. That way your ice cream don't melt while you are eating. ;)

Thank you! I think we will definately eat at least once at the POP then!

OH NO! You MUST do rope drop at HS! Then run with the bulls to Toy Story Mania. Get on line, while your hubby gets fast passes for another ride. If you don't go early, you will not get on Toy Story. How old are your kids?
