Hi all,

I am trying to remember how the dining plans work as I've never done a split stay– we are DVC members and traveling as a large party with kids involved and are at Disney while Free Dining is on so we decided to just go with QS plan and pay out of pocket for a couple of meals—LOL didn’t want the hassle of trying to have so many restaurants booked during that crazy time!

Anyways we are doing a split stay between three sorts and with dining when you add it is it per night correct?

IE – we are at SSR 3 nights so we get
QS2*3
Snack2*3

??

And additionally we can use our QS/Snack credits until midnight the day we check out right? So if we have anything left over the last day at SSR we can finish those up before midnight before using our credits from our next stay at AKL? I ask more because I don’t think we’ll head to AKL until later in the day after spending a few hours at one of the parks and I know we will have credits left since the first day we arrive we don’t get in until the evening and we have 1 character meal as well during those first few days.

Thanks and I hope the above makes sense as to what I am trying to ask LOL

Because you're DVC I am going to assume that all your stays are in DVC resorts on points.

Your credits for the first resort stay are activated for the entire first stay when you check into the first resort. They expire at midnight of the day you check out. When you check into the second resort you will receive the full amount of credits associated with that reservation which are activated as soon as you check in. These expire on the night you check out of the second resort.

On the day you move, make sure you bring along the key card from the first resort and use that until you run out of credits associated with the first stay. Any leftover credits from the first stay will expire at midnight.

It'll be the same when switching from the second resort to a third resort. Don't get rid of the key card from the previous stay until you've used up the dining credits associated with that stay.

Ok great -- that's exactly what I thought :) Just worded clearer :lmao:
