11 days and counting. Can anyone suggest a QS restaurant that would be worth going to while we are visiting MK, Epcot or HS? My wife wants to venture off and see a resort or two so what better way to kill two birds with one stone and have a meal. We are on the QSDP and have two little kids so a quick easy commute on Disney transportation(monorail, boat) is key. It would also be nice to maybe take it to go to eat outside if that is at all possible. So based on this do you have any suggestions/favorite spots? And can you also tell me about how long it takes to get to those particular resorts? The only two resorts we've stayed at and seen for that matter is CBR and AKL so we're looking forward to see other places. Thanks all.

We love Capt. Cook's at the Poly!! If you don't want to eat inside, there's also some tables right outside.

I like the Contempo Cafe, but I wouldn't leave the parks to eat there. There are plenty of wonderful counter service options at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, many of which offer the opportunity for outdoor seating. I don't like any of the counter service options at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Hurricane Hannah's is a Counter Service restaurant with outside seating overlooking the Stormalong Bay pool at the Beach/Yacht Club resort. You can take a boat from EPCOT or it is about a 10 minute walk. I haven't tried any but hear good things about their adult beverages (especially the Sunken Treasure)

Here's a link to the complete menu http://allears.net/menu/menu_hh.htm and a list of selections below.

At Epcot, we really enjoyed the Yorkshire County Fish House - next to the Rose and Crown Pub. They had really good fish and chips and we ate right next to the water.

At the Magic Kingdom, we enjoyed the Columbia Harbor House. Excellent food, great atmosphere and a nice place to look around.

of the CS locations are not worth the time of leaving the parks. But if the goal is to combine the meal with a resprt tour it may be worthwhile.

For the MK both the Poly and Grand Floridian are an easy mono rail ride form the park and are interesting resorts. There' Captain Cooke's at the Poly and Gasparilla Grill and Games at the GF.

Hollywood Studios and Epcot are pretty close to each other. I would eat in Epcot because it has the best selection of restaurants at WDW. Sunshine Seasons in the Land has a wide variety of food - much of it healthy. The English pavilion has fish and chips which usually go over well with kids. I usually get a brat the German pavilion and the American pavilion has standard fare.

Hollywood Studios has a path and a boat that go to the Epcot resort area. Walking is faster but the boat can save young, tired legs. Beaches and Cream would be a good choice there. It's at the Yacht and Beach Clubs.

I concur that it is not really worth the trip just for the food. However, if you are trying to tour a resort I would go see the Contemporary and eat at the Contempo Cafe. The Contemporary is a fun resort to visit/see the monorail in the resort visit the shops and the arcade.

Had a delicious pork sandwich there last month while we were spending a day touring resorts. The inside is fairly small but there are a number of outdoor tables and we were there on a day it was beautiful to sit and relax in the Florida sunshine.

We love Capt. Cook's at the Poly!! If you don't want to eat inside, there's also some tables right outside.
