QS in World Showcase

If you could have one QS meal while in the World Showcase, what would you choose? While there in August I want to try a few unique things from that area, not just a hamburger and fries.

Two of my favorite QS places are the Kringla (Norway) and Patisserie (France). At the Kringla, along with the sandwich (not very exotic) and drink, you also get a dessert pastry (yum!). At the Patisserie you can get two pastries and a drink, which is what I like to do. There are so many yummy things to eat there.

I've read a lot of good things about it. Seems to me that it's one of, if not the best, values using a QS credit. You can get a $13 meal as a QS credit .

I also liked Tangerine Cafe. DH was not a big fan but I thought it was pretty good. It's just something different.

for regular great quality it would have to be either Boulangerie Patisserie or Yorkshire County Fish Shop. Others have some good meal choices but we have found places like Morocco to be hit and miss. Haven't tried the Chinese or Japanese (yet) - I love Mexican food but the Mexican we had there was well below par.

I was really not impressed with Yorkshire Fish and Chips when we ate ther in Sept -- the fish was rubbery, and the coating was gummy .. the fries were okay though ...

My kids love the Yakatori house, SO always goes for the American Cuisine (but she is Portugese and American cuisine is exotic to her .. ) and i prefer the Tangerine Cafe -- Shwarma -- droooooooollllll..... but that's the best thing about WS -- we can always eat what we want

Love Tangerine Cafe. The shwarma platter is great. What we like to do in Epcot is stop at different countries and pick up one or two meals (there is 10of us) split them than move on to the next country. That way we get to try a variety.

We like the Yakitori House, especially with their new okonomiyaki! If you are on the DDP, the Tangerine Cafe has the most food in a "bang for your credit" way.
