QS dessert options for kids

When ordering the kids entitlement for counter service meals, do I ask them what is the kids dessert or do they just automatically give it? I don't see kids dessert options on menu, only adults.

The fruit listed in most QS kid's meals is their dessert. I would say at least 99% of the QS places will also have in itty bitty print, you can substitute a cookie. There are some places that let them have an adult dessert, but the only one I can think of right now is Sunshine Seasons in EP.
