QS breakfast in parks

Hi, I have a trip planned for September. All of these EEMH throw a wrench in our breakfast plans but I am happy for all the extra time, I just need to figure out how to feed my family breakfast. We were going to be doing 2 PPO BoG and eating at our resort the other days. I cancelled the BoG ADRs. I don’t think the food court will be open in time for us to grab something before we hop on a bus to the parks. We are planning to take full advantage of these EMH hours and will be doing either 6 or 7 am rope drops each day. Are there QS options available in the parks that are open before the rope drop hits now that you can scan in prior to top drop at HS and MK? If not any good snack ideas that wouldn’t take too long to grab while we are touring the parks?

I have a backup plan of grabbing snacks the night before at our hotel for us to eat each morning, but I’m not sure we will want to do that every day.

There are not a lot of quick service breakfast options in the parks when you’re going super early. Starbucks is an option, but we find them slammed in the mornings and I don’t like to waste my time in that line. I would bring breakfast into the parks on those early mornings.....muffins, croissants, granola bars, etc....Maybe go to the foodcourt and pickup a few items the day before and then go to an early counter service lunch. That would be my plan.

Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to know beforehand!

I would like to think that Disney would have the forethought to open the QS options at the resorts earlier to accommodate the earlier opening times at MK and AK. Otherwise, I know that they don't usually open until around 7:00 am.

I read somewhere else that Boardwalk Bakery will be open earlier than 630 to accommodate the AM rush to star wars.

Now this will probably indicate how cheap we are, but we bring a box of cereal from home for the two of us, along with styrofoam bowls and plastic spoons. We then pick up milk in the food court or gift shop, and sometimes a banana. We prefer to relax and eat in the room, so when we get to the park we can go right to the rides!

We also bring soda, water, beer and snacks, filling one of our suitcases with all our goodies. Since we fly Southwest we always have the room, and save a lot of money!

Our go to plan: Munch on some granola bars/fruit/cereal/left overs early in the morning in the room and on the way to the bus stop. Make it to the parks for EMH or rope drop. Eat in the park around 10:30/11:00. When the kids were younger and really into the characters, I would try to schedule the character meals for the last seating for breakfast usually 11:00. Those meals were always cheaper than scheduling them for supper. Every time, the servers would say no need to rush. At Crystal Palace, they told us to stay while they switched over from breakfast to lunch...that way we could try their lunch offerings to and see the characters twice if we wanted. You really can get a lot of attractions in with little wait if you go early.

Have a great trip!
