Qs about the pirate museum in Nassau

I read in a previous post about a pirate ?museum? at Nassau. Any info would be great. For instance, what all is there to do? where is it? how do you get there (walk, taxi, etc)? what age range would be interested? cost? time? etc etc

We went about six years ago. We walked from the dock. I can't remember the cost. I think children about 4 and up would think it's interesting. It's not Disney or anything, but I found it pretty entertaining. I figured we'd take DS when he was 5 or so. (he's only 2 now)

The web site says $12 for adults, but they charged us $10 last month. My four and five year old loved it - although we went through it fast because they found it a little spooky. I think it would be perfect for kids just a little older (or perhaps a little braver). Its mostly dioramas of lifesized pirates with readable pirate history - plus a room of artifacts (not extensive). You can get through it in an easy hour (or less if you are taking my kids), You can walk there - its probably four blocks over and three up from the pier where DCL docks - my four year old had no problem walking there and back. You should know that the map from the web site is a little hard to follow - Nassau did not seem to be a town familiar with the concept of the "street sign" - use your "Nassau shopping" guide from your navigator along with the map from the site to get there (the building is purple - once you get close you can't miss it).
