Qs about promo tickets

1) It says I need to present DVC and photo ID. When/where do I do this? Can I link the tickets to MDE and book FP's prior to doing that?

2) It says limit of 8 per household. We are a family of 4. Does that mean I can buy 4 additional ones for friends traveling with us? Not looking to cheat the system, just not sure how to interpret the terms.

If you purchase by phone or online, you'll get a ticket voucher # you can link to MDE to book FP+. You can purchase additional tickets for additional people traveling with you. You can assign those tickets to other people in MDE (add them as Friends and Family). You'll need to "pick up" your tickets (activate them for park entry) at Guest Services at one of the parks or Downtown Disney -- this is where you must show your Photo ID and Membership card to show you are/were eligible for the promotional tickets (note, this means you must activate all the tickets in person -- your guests will be unable to activate them without you physically present).

The requirement to pick up the tickets and show ID is unlikely to be enforced. It has not been necessary in the past. If you actually need to pick up the tickets for whatever reason, then you'll likely need to show ID. But if you have magic bands linked to the profile, the tickets should "just work" without any need to "activate" them. At least that's the way it worked last time.

These tickets have to be used within 14 days of first use. So, as long as you are aware of that restrictions, you certainly can buy more and use them at your leisure.

I bought the anniversary tickets for our May trip. I am taking my two kids and my daughter's friend (who does not reside with us). I bought tickets for all 4 of us via phone with a cast member. I received the tickets in the mail quickly (the plastic ones not vouchers) and have already linked them to MDE and booked fastpasses.
