QR # Game Question

I know QR has the number game at 12a, 12p, and 7p. How long after that time can we guess the number? Seems everytime I go to guess, it tells me the game's over and to come back for the next one . Is there a certain amount of time, after the opening time, that I need to get on there and guess?
