I say the second one as there are no parens, but I have been out of school probably longer than most of you have been alive, so maybe my math skills are lacking.

You always multipy first - so 2 x 2 = 4 + 2 = 6.

I goggled it and the calculator said 6 so that is what I'm going with as well!

I wished they would have used brackets but I guess that would have made things too easy.
