QOTD~What did you get for Christmas?

My wonderful DH got me some great scrappy stuff for Christmas. I got new Cricut carts, and the new Design Studio. I also got the BIG tape gun...so happy I can't wait to play.....

So, what did you get?

I got a cuttlebug and some embossing folders. I also got some new inks and stamps. I got a giftcard to a craft store also.

I got a Bind-it-all I also got cricut markers and alcohol inks.

Of course there is the big thing needed for scrapping - a new camera

But my big present was a Craft Robo! Holy Moly! I was shocked! Now, I just need to learn how to use it!

Oh, yeah, and I got a gift certificate to get some more supplies from my parents. My goal this year to get back to scrapping!

Let's see.. DD got me some sheet protectors (girl knows her mom!)
DH got me Paper Dolls and Celebrations (which reminds me.. need to register those on the site)...
other than that... nothing scrap related..but all loved!!!

The best gift is the great photos we have taken this year and the minimal fighting! Woo hoo!

The Expression bundle I bought last month was supposed to be my only Christmas gift, but DH and the kids surprised me with a "Just Minnie and Me Decorating the Tree" Snowbaby figurine. It's not something I would have bought for myself, but it's cute that they bought me something Disney.

I got Cricut Design Studio which was a complete shock, especially since I wasn't sure about it. I have to say I am pretty excited about it though. I also got Paper Dolls, Cricut markers, a Clip It Up (which I just set it up and its HUGE- not sure where I am going to put it, but it is really handy), GC to Mike's, Calendar kit from Archiver's, and a ribbon iron.

I got a new kitchen sink.


Seriously. I've been in this house over 6 years and hated the sink from week one. DH put in a single bowl huge stainless steel sink AND new faucet. He picked a nice one too. Course he did while I was down south with the boys and when I came home today (alone ) I got to see the surprise and the nice mess left. Sawdust everywhere. Spent an hour just wiping everything down. Worth it though!

My boys did get their mom the two princess carts, because I'm a princess.

I got nothing....yet. DH is active duty army and won't be home until 12/30. I'll have to post again later. Santa did put some pretty cool eyelets in my stocking though!

I got the Animal Kingdom cart from younger DSis, MsSocks, (who I'm sharing the bug with) but don't have custody of it to try it out. LOL I got a GC from Jos from my parents & Chicken Soup for the Scrapbookers Soul from my older DSis. I was also involved with a Secret Santa on another board & got some glitter stacks and Jolee's - oh and a really cool negative-style matte. That's really all I got in the scrap line.

My big present was a cabinet for CDs & DVDs. It looks like something from the post office to me, which is really cool as my father worked in the post office for 30 yrs. I also got the first season of Doctor Who on DVD and two Josh Groban CDs. We had a great Christmas here!

Amen sister!! I'd almost forgotten since he hasn't been her but for a few minutes since he gave his notice!

I just wish we could afford the rent increase that would come by having the landlord re-draw the lines in the house! Because it's an old farm house, there are doors between each side of the house - and locks on the doors too. There are 2 rooms just on the other side of our dining room & staircase that could be added to our side. One had a shower added & the other had a toilet put in a small closet - no lie! It really is a closet!

But it would be nice to have 2 bathrooms here...especially if one is on the 1st floor so I wouldn't need to do the steps all the time! But, sadly it won't happen. I keep dreaming it will, but...DH says no.

I was spoiled by all, but I'm not complaining!!!

I got a Cricut from DH (opened it a couple weeks ago, though), a Mickey cart for it from DH grandma, two tops from here, plus a check. From my parents I got a new IPod, two tops, a sweater and pants for work, and a dvd. From the IL's, I got a new coat, sweater with a cami, two tops and a skirt, a wallflower and refill from B&BW.

The great thing is that I didn't get ANYTHING I didn't like, and neither did the kids!!!

DH is home yeah!!

He got for me: 4 cricut carts, xyron 500 + refills, tape, stickles, chalk ink pads, peechy keen rubber stamps---the faces for the paper doll cart, 2 DCVW stacks, eyelets & brads, and a scraprack!

My best friend (non-scrapper) got me 50 states cricut cart and a 12x24 paper pad.

I had asked for a couple of cartridges but DH didnt get me those. Instead he hunted for a Queen size comfortor set of Tinkerbell for our bed. What a guy - willing to sleep in a Tinkerbell bed. He ended up ordering it from Japan. I LOVE IT. Ended up having to go buy new paint and now we are going to paint the room - lime green with a brownish gold for the wood work (matches the outline of tinkerbell, and then a light blue for the ceiling. He got me pillows and a poster as well.

Plus lime green crocs and pluto, mickey, minnie, tinkerbell and micky's hand jibbets for the holes. I just went on ebay and got the castle one. They may not be a fashion statement but they are comfy. I wanted them for the pool when I am officiating at my sons swim meets, but I wear them all the time now.

I got 3 albums as well plus the kids got me some stickers (Tinkerbell lol)
