Ok, I'll try..

The season is fall.. WHAT is the favorite activity you and your family like to do each year?

Ok, We have a few traditions we hold..
We go to "Zoo Boo" at the Zoo, we can stay late and trick-or-treat at the zoo and see special shows! One year they had pumpkin bowling! It was a hoot watching my 2yo (at the time) trying to roll a big pumpkin! He finally pushed it all the way down to knock the pins over.
We also hit the pumpkin patch each year; not usually the same one each year.
The covered bridge festival is the next 2 weeks so we will take a day and go visit the bridges and do the shopping at the vendors.. don't usually buy much more than a lemonade shake up but it's a great place to get ideas..

Lets see fall activities include football and tailgating. Its finally getting cool enoug to enjoy that. Then DH is a huge Halloween fan so we do a big front yard display every year. He was going to hold off this year but it got the better of him and he's already getting the stuff out.

We love fall (even though our fall is like a mild summer temperture wise)! We go to the pumpkin patch and to the Fall Carnival at DD's school. And of course there is college football- we literally don't make any plans on Saturdays during the fall unless it is to go to someone else's house to watch.

We watch football too.. DH is in mourning because his favorite team can't get it together.. while my alma mater is doing the job well.. and I'm the first one to laugh and wear my university shirt to rub it in!!! :)

We had a great last football game last night for our Middle Schooler.. the temps were nice and not so blazin' hot as the rest of the season has been!

Football is a big deal for us, too! We watch all of the Tennessee Vols games and cheer for the Big Orange! Fall is also time for making homemade chili (the only thing I cook ;) ) and pumpkin bread!! :)

Forgot about pumpkin bread and pumpkin spice latte's from Starbucks! :goodvibes

Uhmmmmm...would that be Notre Dame??? DH and DS are also in mourning. On the other hand, they are also IU fans and are pleased at how well they are doing.

UUUUHHH, yep... DH grew up about 25 minutes south of campus... I actually was able to perform there when IU played ND years ago when I was in college.. LOVE that stadium!!! ;) Love the campus altogether..but for some reason the team just can't get it together this year!

You'll have to tell me about that.. we are debating on taking the kids there, not for halloween but for the adventure of something new...

I WISH it were sweatshirt weather here! It highs in the 80's- hey we had a "cold" front yesterday. Went from the low 90's to the high 80's....:cool1:

OH, yeah! Rub it in girl.. I'm going on a field trip tomorrow w/ DS11 to the zoo..and it's only suppose to be in the 50's... Ugh, can you say "GRUMPY MOMMY!".. I will have a sweatshirt and a fleece jacket on... trying to take photos should be a blast!!! BUT, I will not be stopped...photos are a must!

Nothing like a hay ride at the local pumpkin patch during the fall months.

How weird. We don't have any traditions. We go to Renaissance festival every fall, we do the harvest festival at the Pioneer village, and we always get a pumpkin or two, but no real traditions. Guess we better start some.

It's 85 here today... I did talk to a friend outside Chicago and apparently it's was in the upper 40's at 7:30 AM her time

Yep, the kids went out for the bus complaining..
"oh, yeah, now we have to go to school when it is cold out!".. I very nicely remind them.. it's better to go when it's cold out than have to sit in the classroom during the summer time!
I still got snarfed out...but I think they would agree!!!
