Qestion:Twilight readers

Okay,so i finished reading Twilight this morning.
I started reading New Moon.And it sounds like Edward & Bella
break up and he moves somewhere.i'm on chapter 3.
So could someone tell me like what's happening because
i somewhat don' understand.thanks soo much people

Well I don't have my book with me right now so I don't remember exactly where you are, but he leaves Bella because of what happened with Jasper at her party. He doesn't want her to be in any more danger because of them. <---highlight
