Just reading australianfrequentflyer and it was mentioned that Qantas are having a 'massive' domestic and international sale starting tonight at midnight.
That's all the info I have.
May be worthwhile to check out.

yep - woke up this morning and Qantas sale now on! Same price I paid earlier this year - so I wonder if this is as good as it gets?

Cheapest price I could find is still about $500 PP more than I got with V. Still happy

I've been watching the prices for ages now. DH had heard 6 months out was the best time to buy. I think he was right. We got flights to Orlando for $1533pp with Qantas (who we have frequent flyers with). I'm very happy. Just a few weeks same flight was around $2200.
