Q re sick child

I just returned from the WL. On the 2nd day of vacation my 1 1/2 y.old fell ill and needed to be admitted to Celebration Hospital. Needless to say, we didn't really get to the parks. I have park hoppers without the expiry option. Is there any way to purchase this after the fact? We didn't get to use 5 out of our 6 day tickets? I have receipts from the immedicentter and celebration hospital. It was an expensive and disappointing vacation. The baby is better but ran a high fever 104 for the week.
My friend said to contact Wl and see if they can do anything about a future stay. Has this happened to anyone? Any info would be appreciated

what a terrible thing to happen. you have nothing to lose so i'd give guest services a call and see what they will do. no doubt you were thinking of other thngs when you were there

I'm glad to hear your baby is ok but what an awful experience! I feel for you. If you purchased the tickets without expiration date you should be able to use them any time (or was that a typo?). If they did expire you'll probably be out of luck (love that mouse but let's face it, he's a ruthlessly greedy little rodent) but it couldn't hurt to ask.

Officially since it seems you did use one of the days on the tickets, they will expire. But I would definitely contact guest services and see what they can do. Many companies do have a heart and will try to make their customers happy. it is not like you just decided not to go to the parks, there is a reason and they may care. But you need to be persistant, not just necessarily accept the first answer you get from the first person you talk to. If you are not satisfied, ask to speak to their supervisor.

If you just got back, and it's still within 14 days from the time you first used your ticket, you can still add the no expiration option. I don't know how you could do that if your not still there, but I would think that they would be able to do that over the phone.
Another thing, if you are able to upgrade to the no expiration, you should also upgrade to the 10 day MYW. It will not cost much, and it may give you two vacations to make up for this one you've missed.
