Q on image in signature

OK, so I uploaded a picture I took on my recent trip to my geocities webspace and updated my signature. Now when I view a message of mine all I get is the ALT text from the IMG tag and it will not display the photo. I view the source and copy and paste the SRC for the IMG tag into the address box, and the image comes up fine.

So this leads me to the question(s) : Is there a limit on the size or location of images in signatures? do I have to put them on a DIS website? I tried to set up an account on the DIS personal websites but that is down.

You can't link directly to geocities anymore, that's why you get the red X.

You'll more than likely have to upload it to a webpage, like the one offered here on the DIS. The only problem is, that one seems to be down at the moment!

Yeah I tired to setup an account here on DIS but I couldn't so I firgured I would try on my page already setup over at geocities.
