Q&C Vouchers

They are $11.50 each at hotwiresavingsclub.com. If you check the menus at http://www.wdwig.com you can see where would be the best places to use them. I bought them to use at the Pepper Market and B&C.

Whatever you do don't buy them on ebay. I ordered mine from Hotwire and they were a very easy company to deal with (Also bought GC for target and olive garden...for a discount) You can get all the information about them from the thread and on their website. No problem cancelling either.

It seemed like the value was about a wash inside the parks (but there was the savings of the tax plus a little bit as well as the benefit of prepaying for your meals.)

I'll tell you, the big savings comes from the Vacation Kingdom Lunch Vouchers. These are for lunch at the better disney restaurants. (Not Victoria and Alberts though.)

Check them out. A little more money, but there is so much food. My family of 4 (kids aged 8 & 2) used 1 adult and 1 child voucher ($40) and then purchased an additional drink and appetizer (unnecessary.) The waiters are very helpful in suggesting the best things for the vouchers. Their tip is built in. I would suggest leaving a little extra for them.

Also, Hotwire has the Theme Park Tickets as well for $10 cheaper than I could find them anywhere else. (Various types)

Hope this helps :wave2:

Can you tell us where you used the VKL vouchers?

Maggie

There are many places you can use them but we went to The Brown Derby (celebrate a birthday with a free extra desert), Le Cellier (Yummy steaks - Highly recommend the glowing ice-cube float which only counts as the drink.) and Rainforest Cafe (Surf and Turf normally $40 plus the appetizer, drink, and desert, tax and tip.

There are actually about 30 or so restaurants to choose from (in the parks and hotels). I'm sure there is more information on the exact locations on this discussion board or other sources, but these are the places we went and they were all great. (And great values.)

Do your research to find out which restaurants would be the best hit for your family. mousesavers.com & wdwig.com & themouse forless.com were good sources for me.

I have bought Q&C vouchers from Hotwire for the first time and waiting for delivery. I have read that someone called Disney and inquired about the vouchers they were told that Disney does not have them or use them. Now I am worried have I wasted my money.

We were there 5/31 to 6/6, we used 10 QC vouchers, 2 breakfast vouchers, and 4 VKL vouchers (yes we eat a lot LOL). No problems encountered, we loved having the vouchers. We already have our vouchers for our December trip.

WE just got back, I ordered from hotwire, no problems. We ordered 2 VKL vouchers based on the info from here, we ate (and shared the meal, it was almost as if the servers expected us to share!) We ate at Rainforest Cafe (a welcome respit from the HEAT of Animal Kingdom I might add!!) and we ate in Epcot/Canada LeCellier - we ordered the 10oz steak and split it, i wasnt expecting it to be so very tender!! It was the best meal we had!!

I order'ed from hotwire too, 12 Q&C's 2 VKL's, and 4 Breakfast vouchers. Can't wait to use them. So much easier then carry money around..

If it makes you feel better.....

I started using Q&C's back in 2001, and even back then most CM's didn't know what they were, but I used them without problem.

My understanding is that these are the same vouchers used for some of the packages that include meals, they are authorized by Disney because they are Disney's.

Don't worry about using them, you won't have a problem. I had one problem, that wasn't really even a problem, at the counter service mexican restaurant in Epcot, but it was only because it was the first time the manager on duty had had someone use one there, but he made a quick call and said no problem. You would think that CM's and management would be well informed of these things but all too often we find that not to be the case:confused:
