I thought I read somewhere that once you enter the park with your ticket, you're not allowed to leave and re-enter again (like if you want to leave to have dinner, and come back)? Do I have a faulty memory, or is this true?

TIA!!

If you are talking about the day ticket, you can leave and come back but if you're talking about the actual HHN ticket, I would say no. Why would you want to enter at 6:30pm and then leave for dinner and come back? If you were to leave HHN and have dinner somewhere on a busy night, you may not be able to get back in due to the crowd.

Thanks Metro. Yeah, I was asking specifically about the hard-ticketed event. I have bad knees, so sometimes I need to take an extended break (I'm not quite to the hoveround stage ;) ) I was thinking if we came on a Sat, we could go from about 6:30 to 9:00...take a break and go to Emerils for dinner, and then back to the park between 11:30-2:30 am (Saturday hours). I thought since it's a hard-ticketed event that they only sell so many tickets, so it wouldn't be too crowded to get back in? Sorry, this would be our first HHN adventure!

Yeah...sometimes the crowds are quite large especially on Saturdays. I would recommend staying in the park and taking advantage of Stay & Scream so you can get a jump on the houses before the gates are opened. There are plenty of places to rest if you need to take a break.

I agree! And a good place to eat and rest during HHN would be Finnegan's. Other options are Louie's and the International Food and Film Festival.

Finnegans is a great place with the best food in the Studios(IMO)but gets extremly crowded during HHN..

I'll jump on the Finnegan's bandwagon! And if you can't get in there, Louie's has really, really awesome pizza (well, for a theme park anyway). In the worst case scenario, go to one of the burger places. Also, work the shows into your schedule as a way to rest.
