Q about Frozen Premium Package

We are going to WDW on Sept 5th and I booked the Premium package for Sept 6th at HS. What happens if the weather is bad and the parade or the fireworks get cancelled, and is the package really worth it? Is it really hard to get a decent spot for the fireworks and the Royal Welcome without the reserved spot?

I did it last September and won't do it again. At the parade when they dropped the rope people rushed in and those of us with a package actually had a worse view. It did rain that night and they moved the dessert party inside of Playhouse Disney. While it was nice it was not worth the dollars. And we only had maybe 45 minutes at the dessert party. Then they led us out to the viewing area. So we didn't have the snacks and drinks for the rest of the wait or during the show. You can buy a LOT of cupcakes, ice cream, soda, and adult beverages for the cost of the package.

Thanks for the info. I have been thinking that I can do a lot more with $177.
