Q about five day reservation cancellations

HI all. New to the boards but I find them so helpful. I have a question. I just called to book a room only reservation and since its less than 45 days away they say I don't have the option to cancel within 5 days before the trip. I am not intending to cancel, I am just trying to be on the safe side. Does anyone know if they have changed the cancellation policy or if perhaps I got the wrong info.

You were booking through the WDTC instead of CRO, they have different cancellation policies. The link below will explain all that for you. When you call, be sure and state that you would like to book a room only ressie with CRO. ~~
