JetBlue is starting nonstop service PWM-MCO this week so I was excited to book June flights. However when I called because the nonstop daily is only showing up through April on the website, the customer service rep checked (took a long time) and came back to report the nonstop daily is seasonal

Has anyone else gotten this same information? I know I can book Airtran nonstop, but my kids would rather fly JetBlue with a stop at JFK than nonstop on Airtran (the TVs) :sad2:

I'm feeling like if I go ahead and book Airtran, by spring JB will announce they are extending the nonstops through the summer. PWM so far has exceeded JB's expectations for traffic.

I would call JetBlue again and see what a different person says. You would think that JetBlue would continue the non stop just to compete with AirTran. Let us know.

I would have thought so too. I checked again today (online, didn't call) and there were still no direct flights for my dates the end of June. Not only that but three RTs with taxes and fees was $1400...fares were $199 to $234 each way

So, I booked Airtran at $109 each way (could have gotten $99 but I had waited for JB to come out...) for total of $742 with taxes and fees (paid the $5 to choose seats). Not sure what JetBlue management is thinking on this one....For the difference I can buy a $99 DVD player set for the flight I guess

That is what we use when we fly. Just bring along 4 or 5 movies and watch the ones you want. Works great.

Oh well JetBlue loses. Should have kept the non-stop flights. Have a good trip.
