I don’t recall this being noted yet (sorry it if I missed it), but WBG is now listed in MDE and online: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/polynesian-resort/wailulu-bar-grill/

I looked and I don't see it in the MDE app. The online website does not have menus yet which is a bummer. Still not sure if this will be QS or if you need reservations.I don’t recall this being noted yet (sorry it if I missed it), but WBG is now listed in MDE and online: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/polynesian-resort/wailulu-bar-grill/

It is a Table Service so I would think reservations will be needed but I’m not sure as other TS locations don’t give an option for reservations. At least TS indicated by Disney as I don’t think of Bar Riva as a TSI looked and I don't see it in the MDE app. The online website does not have menus yet which is a bummer. Has to be a TS, I'd imagine. Would be really cool if it were a setup like Geyser Pt. A hybrid model to support the pool, yet swanky enough for a sit down.
I wonder what the chances are that it's open on Dec 17th? Not sure if any of that information has been released or not?
I think that's exactly what they're going for; I've heard/seen the term "walk-up pool bar and grill" used in a handful of articles/YT videos when describing it.Has to be a TS, I'd imagine. I really hope so. To me, it would be a missed opportunity not to have a legit TS in this building. Would prefer a top floor type along the lines of RR and Contemporary, but I guess that wouldn't quite match the vibe they are looking for. But maybe that's just me...my expectations are usually unrealisticI think that's exactly what they're going for; I've heard/seen the term "walk-up pool bar and grill" used in a handful of articles/YT videos when describing it.
Looks like Three Bridges and Geyser Point to me. I think casual sit-down, walkups/no reservations.Has to be a TS, I'd imagine. Would be really cool if it were a setup like Geyser Pt. A hybrid model to support the pool, yet swanky enough for a sit down.

EDITED:
Found it in another thread, but here is a quick article from DFB...

"Service: Casual Walk-up Pool Bar & Grill"
IMO, the walk-up policy "works" at Three Bridges and Geyser Point because those two resorts are relatively isolated. Neither is very accessible to non-guests, catering mostly to the limited audience staying at their respective resorts.Looks like Three Bridges and Geyser Point to me. To balance the demand, they could just make the food and service mediocre with high prices. Problem solved.IMO, the walk-up policy "works" at Three Bridges and Geyser Point because those two resorts are relatively isolated. Thanks to the walking paths, boats and monorail, Wailulu will be accessible to a much, much larger audience. Not only does poly have around 1000 rooms, but Grand Floridian is a short walk away, Contemporary a short ride, plus tens-of-thousands more passing thru from MK.
Despite the frustration often voiced over 60 day ADRs, not sure that a walk-up-only policy would play well in this location.
I completely agree with that. It's going to be a very popular place.IMO, the walk-up policy "works" at Three Bridges and Geyser Point because those two resorts are relatively isolated. It's a on-credit meal on the Dining Plan, which means table service and likely ADRs. The only table service, one-credit option without ADRs (that I can think of) is Geyser Point. Maybe it's that. But the Geyser Point model is a deep outlier in the one-credit options.I don’t recall this being noted yet (sorry it if I missed it), but WBG is now listed in MDE and online: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/polynesian-resort/wailulu-bar-grill/

For the bar area, it might work similar to Tambu Lounge. 1 line to wait for a seat at the bar and a second line to order a drink and take it away.My guess is they'll do a hybrid approach. As in, the outdoor bar will definitely be a walk-up/pool bar type but if you want a table inside the restaurant, you'll need an ADR.
This looks like a lot of progress and I like how these tattoos soften the larger areas of the resort. Visited in Oct and excited to see what it looks like in Feb!More recent monorail side construction photos. More palm trees and tattoos by the day…
Which group did you see that in?BLT refurb photos are up on Facebook. It looks like there has been a twin Murphy bed pull down added. That would bump the room capacity to five, leaving Island Tower as the only four on the monorail.
Are you sure the Studio rooms have a twin pull-down? The twin has definitely replaced the sleeper chair in 1B/2B units. Haven’t seen any definitive evidence of them being added to Studios.BLT refurb photos are up on Facebook. It looks like there has been a twin Murphy bed pull down added.
