PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

25 points is the minimum I noticed. That was the minimum before but I thought when they did BPK they had upped VGF to a 50 point minimum.

Additional information to consider:

25 points - 1 night a year. 🤣

I looked at the virtual tours and look books. Is that a shower door on the water closet? That's an odd choice.

I wish I knew what the BLT reno will look like. If it's really nice, those rooms will seem like a steal point-wise.

Another Q: If they match use year and I have an October use year, does that mean I won't get any points until October 2025?

I keep reminding myself to think long haul - this is the shiny new object (and a beautiful one at that!) but Reflections v2 is on the horizon and that REALLY excites me, if it is at all similar to prior concept art.
Long haul = Dues

PIT & BLT Resale are cheaper than RIV & most likely Reflections if it is indeed tied to CFW

I think that totally makes sense as a preference someone would have, I think I'm just caught off-guard that the Island Tower is seen as scratching that particular itch. It never occurred to me that people would be treating it like a stand-alone, I always assumed it would mainly "ride" on the back of the existing Poly infrastructure as part of the overall resort package. You're still going to the main bus stop and the main feature pool and the main boat docks and the main parking lot and...

Said more simply: Preferring a stand-alone resort makes sense, but I don't think the Poly Tower is one.

This is what had us considering it before it was combined with PVB. Part of why we don't like the current PVB set up is because of how you have to go out for everything....and none of it is under cover.

We like the tower aspect...although, we do also love VGF and we do have to go out for thigns there, but at least from the main building, which is where we would stay, its covered to get to what we want!

So, the tower seemed like it might work well along with VGF for our stays. Now seeing the point charts, maybe the 7 month window for those larger rooms for the few nights we would stay (we split stay) will be doable and no need to buy!

But, having to be able to get food, drink, etc. and have the fitness center right there is huge for us!

So, they are indeed starting everyone with 2025 UY points? That makes the MB program much less attractive as one would be pretty much starting out in "borrowing mode".

I had a feeling this would be the case.

Any confo on BLT studios getting Murphy beds, I presume too small to add the 5th sleeper?

Has anyone talked to a guide yet? Any info on what UY and set of points it would start at? I am off to WDW today for a few days to do some resort tours so I will try to get further info!!
Just received the email and sent a few questions to him. Mostly regarding priority booking (if any) down the road past the early opening booking.

I doubt it....given that the resort opens so late in December, my guess is it made sense to start everyone with 2025 and have the dues reflect that as well...no one will be paying 2024 dues.
That makes sense about the dues. I did email my guide for clarification but haven't heard back yet.

I hope that’s not the case. Why would I buy a resort that opens two months later and not get any points until 9/1/2025 (my UY)? I should be getting current UY when I buy in. This would absolutely change my opinion on buying if I don’t get 2024 points. I could see Dec UY not getting 2023 points, however, as the resort doesn’t open till December.

No point adding on yet then, why pay full year of 2025 dues and most of 2026 if I can buy in Nov 2026 and get the same amount of points and only 6 weeks of dues

This has maybe been clarified elsewhere but do we know what “preferred” views are yet?
Would it be over the lagoon at all or will that be strictly Theme Park?
