At long last, the first couple deeds from unit 89A (declared December 10, 2024) began showing up in the April 30, 2025 county deeds. These have palm tree dates of 4/18/25.
Using @wdrl data, this unit has 182,313 points.

NOTE: this is not the most recent declaration. Units 90A (175,698 points) and 90B (159,840) were declared on March 18, 2025. (335,538 points)

April deeds (75,215?) looking like they are below February (78,308). At the April pace, it may take 6-7 months to get through this declared inventory. Because of delayed closings, it's possible there are a number of deeds in the pipeline.

NOTE: at one point in 2024, Riviera had 800K in declared but not seen points declared. This is common for Disney. Possibly because they want people to stay at the newest resorts.

April was the first month of PVB data where the county did not show any day during the month with at least 10K points.

Combined with reports Disney changing from 90 day delayed closings to a max of 60 days, seems things are slowing.

I think RIV also will reflect a slowdown in April county data.

In general, slowing down slightly, but there are so many variables. For example, Disney could have more people delaying closings than normal months.

Really can't say until we are 60-120 past the data.

However, it will not stop people from saying tariffs, late Easter, and many other causes.

I have to admit, my first instinct was they must know something we don’t.

Then, I wondered if they think construction costs will rise so they need to charge more to pay for future projects?

We don’t need any points, so we will get the popcorn out and watch to see what happens.

Construction costs is a good point!

I don't NEED any more points either. I just WANT the PVB IT theme park view I thought I could resist when it was the same association, but the one-bedrooms are calling me!

So far, I have seen a spread of up to 142 days between a PVB "Palm Tree" date and the county recorded date.
These delays are likely people delaying their initial deposit and then spreading the 3 payments out.
