Are studios villas? I think of one bedroom and up as villas.

So shouldn't the Poly be called Disney's Polynesian Studios and Bungalows (PSB)?????
There are no villas there.

Or perhaps this is a clue to future developments?

Before the Poly DVC generally used the terms Deluxe Stuidos, 1 Bedroom Villas, 2 Bedroom Villas, and 3 Bedroom Grand Villas. That is what you will find on the majority of their advertisements and used for checking and booking rooms on the DVC Member site.

I tend to mostly refer to something as a villa if it's a 1BR or larger - DVC does too for the most part. I wish it hinted at more for Poly but nothing seems to point to that coming soon. Always good to leave it open to possibilities though although I think they're just using the naming convention of other resorts rather than it being an actual indicator of more.

So, on pure acronym rating I like PVB better than PSB so the name should stand.

DVC appears to call them studios villas. Although as others have stated on the MS website villa is only applied to 1, 2 & 3 BRs and not to studios or 2BR lockoffs. But I agree with Kat4Disney, PVB just sounds better.
