put DW mind at rest re adrs

were on fDDP for aug and i have done and booked my adrslast week DW thinks i am mad.She thinks i could get them the week before we go. what i would like to know is what times are being quoted now for end of aug we have mainly 7pm seating except for the fantasmic package at holywod and vine the only time availabe was 6.00 and CP at 7.50pm tried 8.00pm but not availabe and dinnershows at early times hoop and sprit of olha. Just curious

Paulh, you did the right thing. During free dining the restaurants will be quite crowded and adr's will fill up early. I just called to add one meal for our trip in July and could not get a time within an hour of our desired meal time. You will not have to worry that if you wait it will all be booked up.
To your dw's credit, her plan used to work well... then the dining plan arrived. People who do not make adr's will be disappointed and that can make a trip less than fun.

I think what you've done is fine! You were smart to make ADR's now, especially if you're going in August! We are leaving in 11 days (yay!) and right now it is not a peak season. I wanted FDP for MM (we had to switch our vacay days) and it's booked-rather, has been booked for about a month now. Also, last year (we went in May, same time), there were turning away people at restaurants such as Le Cellier saying no room! You're ensuring that you're going to eat where you want to and pretty much when. I say you did the right thing!

there might be 2 nights we will want to change as outher people will be eating with us instad of 4 it will be 10 at bomas and somewhere ellce dw will not aproch her mum untill after our may holiday to california so thats why ive been asking she will only let me do that in june
