We're going to WDW in December and while it is an anniversary trip for us, I feel a little weird noting that on my ressies when our anniversary isn't until January? Do you think I should note it or not?

I don't know I think it's personal preference. I know DH & I are taking an anniversay trip this summer to WDW. It's actually our first trip alone ever (we didn't take a honeymoon) w/o kids. We will be leaving about 4 days before our actual anniversary. I felt funny having them note it on my reservation at all, because I feel like if I do I'm looking for something from them. I just don't know.

I wouldnt do it, Id feel funny.

We had thought of celebrating our DS's birthday in WDW when we arrived, 2 days after his actual birthday. We got the pin and all and then felt really silly having him wear it when it wasnt his birthday. We decided against it. I think it would have taken away from the people who really were having a birthday that day.

But thats JMO, and plenty of people do "celebrate" things months off, so if you feel ok about doing it, go for it. :) You wont be alone. I know Im in the minority on this one.

But is it ok to say it's your bday at a ps when your bday is the next day?

"OK" is in the eyes of the beholder. Some people won't do it just because they'd feel silly having everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to them when it's really not their birthday. Others figure that if the entire trip is in celebration of their birthday, they can celebrate every day they're at WDW. There is no official "right" or "wrong" here. No one will ask for your ID to verify it's your birthday. If the dinner the night before is how you're celebrating your birthday, then note it on the PS. But be reasonable, and then don't keep noting it on PS's for the rest of the stay!
