Does anyone have any reccomendations on where to buy a decent pushchair for my 19 month old daughter in Orlando?

I am going to buy one straight after picking up the hire car.

We did think of buying a cheapie and then ditching it, but she is due a new one anyway. At the moment she has a Mamas and Papas Pliko and we were thinking of buying something similiar.

Many Thanks.

Hiya!

I have a Pliko for my son and its rather worse for wear! We are thinking of replacing it in Florida. You can buy the US equivalent in Babies R Us. The Mamas and Papas brand is called Peg Perago in the States and the Pliko is available for $269.00. Not much different to over here.

I would avoid at all costs the cheap Wal-Mart Strollers. Granted they are cheap, but they are hard to push and dont lie flat. McClaren is a "deluxe" brand in the States and the strollers tend to be dearer than here. Graco is the most common brand, and you can get a variety of good Graco Strollers at reasonable prices. We liked the Jeep brand as well, tough strollers with nice styling and not available in the UK, so a bit unique!

If you want to try Babies R Us that is on Highway 50 (East Colonnial Drive) not far from the airport. I can find the exact address if you need it. The nearest Wal-Mart is on Sandlake Rd about 10 mins from the airport. Not as much choice on strollers though. Check out both websites for an idea of what is currently available.

Let me know if I can help with anymore details.

Thanks Allie.

Some great advice there :D

I just had a look on the babies r us website and there are a couple of 'strollers' that look promising.

Looks like it's a trip to Toys R us on the 23rd then:D
