Thanks for those of you reporting stained clothing. I wondered about this and how they got detergent as a solid to stick to those sheets.....must be something in the process or some additive that is causing this.
I make my own detergent, but wanted something easier for our last trip to Florida. We drive and I went to the grocery store (Super Target) the first day we arrived, so I ended up getting a liquid detergent there that was so much cheaper than the sheets, but I did look long and hard at those sheets for convenience. I think the difference was the Purex was .30 per load. The detergent was about .10 per load. You can cut the purex, but you can also cut the detergent.....making them .15 or .05 per load.
Now, this isn't a huge deal if you are only using them for vacation, but for everyday use, it would be a bigger deal. My homemade soap comes to between .02-.03 per load.
I would love to get a sample and try it out though.
