Purchasing Tickets when renting points

We arrive on Saturday, and wondered if anyone could help me out. We are renting points for the first time, and staying at SSR. We've got the dining plan, and know that we need to pay for that when we arrive. We will need to purchase tickets. Where do we do this, and are they still attached to our KTTW cards?

You can buy them at the resort or the parks - same price - and the resort can add them to your KTTW cards.

If you had more time, you could have gotten a small discount from purchasing elsewhere, but at this point, I would just get them at the resort when you arrive.
