Purchasing tickets online

Due to FP+ we have decided that purchasing our theme park tickets ahead of time through the WDW website. We are also doing this to Bypass the ticket booth lines and go straight to the turnstiles. We are staying off site and also will be purchasing Magic bands off site. I was wondering will the hard Plastic card tickets be mailed to us or will we just get Paper ones that we need to exchange somewhere.

Also, Can we start booking FP+ options 30 days out as soon as we get our mailed ticket or do we have to wait for the magic bands?

You can book FP options at 30 days if your tickets are linked to your MDX account. If you have the tickets in hand you can link them yourself. I don't know if they are automatically linked when you buy them. They might be.

Mine came autmotically linked to my MDX. They were also plastic. Waiting for MB's to arrive.

I would recommend buying your tickets through an authorized re-seller, such as Undercover Tourist. You can get the exact same tickets that you would get from the Disney website for less money. Why spend more than you need to?

Ditto this. If you're staying for 5 days or more, UT is the way to go.

No one issues any paper tickets anymore. They're either the hard plastic RFID-enabled cards, or just an electronic ticket that hooks into MDE automatically.
