Purchasing tickets at the gate with AP discount

I have a seasonal AP that we will be using in December. We need to purchase one of our daughters a 3 day ticket. I think I get a 10% discount on tickets at the gate. Is it worth it to wait and get her ticket when we get there or should I buy ahead of time from undercover tourist? I am also wondering if I should wait until Black Friday. I think UT ran a deal then last year?

Gate prices are more expensive than buying online in advance directly from Disney, so you wouldn't really be getting a discount anyway.

I would buy them from UT or buy them online directly from Disney if you get the discount. You should look to see which one is cheaper.

The above poster is talking about Disney, but the same applies to Universal. Gate prices are $20 more than online prices. With only a 10% discount with your AP off of the gate price, you may be better off to purchase from undercovertourist.com
