Purchasing Tickets and Dining Once There?

Okay, I'm not sure if this should go here or not, but I have a question about purchasing tickets. We are renting points for the first time, so when we check in I am guessing they will give us our room keys (one for every member of our party) and then we still need to purchase tickets. We are getting the park hoppers. How will they do this? Will they use our room keys to put our admission to the parks on them? If we purchase the dining plan how will they do that? We usually go directly through Disney, so renting points from DVC is all brand new to us, and I am one of those people who likes to have at least some sort of idea what to expect. We are arriving this coming Saturday Dec 5th, so I guess I'm just a little apprehensive about things.

If you want the dining plan, the member you rented from needs to add it now. It must be added to the reservation at least 2 days prior to your check-in date. You would pay for the dining plan when you check-in and the credits will be on your room key.

If you purchase park tickets, you can have them put on your room keys if you want.

Wow thanks for the quick reply! She did already add the dining plan to the reservation. I was just wondering how they would do it. So we can get them to put the admission to the parks on our room keys? Can they do that at any park? We had thought about going to AK first if they didn't have our room ready. Just wondering. You can get your park tickets at the resort and have them added to your room key once you have them in hand. You can also do this at any guest services location at the parks or downtown disney.

You can also purchase from Undercovertourist.com now and have the tickets delivered to the resort.The tickets are cheaper from these people and they can still be put onto your room key.We always buy our tickets from them. You can get park hoppers as well as tickets to Cirque du Soliel and Disney Quesr. Either way I wish you the best of time we will be there in 44 days.

I think if you want them added to your key they would have to do it at your resort. I don't think the parks have access to keys. You could buy the ticket at the park and have it added to your key when you get back to your resort.
