Our trip is 5 weeks away so I am being silly right?

Does anyone know how close to my trip I can order TGV tickets without the price going up....I think I remember that they are higher as you get closer.....

If you buy your tickets at least 10 days in advance of travel, you get the best price.

What is the best way to buy tickets?

I use Rail Europe or SNCF websites - order and pay online, the tickets are then sent to my address in the post (usually I receive them the day after I've ordered them ). This is for a UK address though, I don't know if the options are different for other countries.
